Case study for an iPad app that keeps track of house plants' health.
The app communicates with a sensor in the plant that measures humidity and light.

A sensor in the plants communicates to the iPad:
-
The health of the plant (0–100%)
-
If it is getting the right amount of sunlight
-
If it is getting the right amount of water
The app allows to:
-
Quickly assess the state of all plants
-
Know if any of your plants need help
-
Add a new plant and sensor

Single Plant Main Page
Displayes additional information and instructions about light and water levels
Add a plant flow
1
When a new sensor is activated,
it is detected by the app and an alert is displayed at the top of the screen

Case Study for a personal assistant concierge mobile app for a chain of hotels.
Concept and design for a concierge app that recognizes pains and translates them into solutions in the form of services from the hotel. The services are offered to guests at the right time and place

Guests of the hotel are invited to download the app when they complete the booking.
Introduction: First-time flow
Jasper, the concierge will introduce itself and what he can do to serve the guest

Services find the guest at the right time
and place
Example: on the way to the hotel from the airport a comforting breakfast is suggested to be waiting in the room upon arrival.

Chatting with Jasper: special requests in open text
UX mocks of the first-time flow
- Complete booking
- An invitation to download the app
- App store
- Jasper introducing himself

The hotel as a marketplace
Based on the guest data, the app will allow local businesses to offer their services to guests. For example, guests traveling with children will be offered babysitting services.
These services will be offered at the optimal timing, alongside the hotel services.
